Our Location: 135 Bridge Street, Columbia, PA in the former Superior Washing Machinery Co./Columbia Washing Machine Co. building complex.
Building History: you can still see the original wood wheels for the old washing machinery equipment pulley systems on the second floor, which ran from approximately 1891 through the 1960's. During Prohibition however, a third floor room was encased in cork to quiet the noise of an illegal bootleg distillery. The finished gin was then run through the underground tunnels from the basement out to the edge of the river, where waiting ferrymen would whisk the goods away for sale to many a thirsty customer.
Anderson's Bootleg Antiques brings new energy to this over 100 year old building, with over 70 Quality Dealers and multiple consignors. With two beautifully renovated floors, we have four rooms covering over 10,000 s.f., and offer ADA compliant restrooms and entrance/exit on the first floor.
